Atos has now signed an agreement with the government-run research organization center for the development of the Advanced Computing for the development in the exascale computing, quantum computing, and AI.
As a part of a deal, some of the researchers from the C-DAC and Atos will work together on applications harnessing Big Data, Ai, Machine Learning, digital simulation by using the French company technologies.
The partnership even revealed the creation of a quantum experience computer center at the C-DAC headquarters in the Pune to facilitate research in quantum theory.
The Quantum Learning Machine, which Atos claims to be one of the world-leading quantum simulators, will also be available at the C-DAC facility operated by the ministry of electronics and information technology.
The Research and Development organizations will use the Atos expertise in the AI to improve the performance computing system, operate AI workloads, and foster the creation of an ecosystem of AI devices.
C-DAC which has developed India first supercomputer PARAM will work together with the Atos in a long term association on exascale computing.
