Microsoft Garage India has entered into a partnership with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee to deliver lectures on quantum computing. Students of B.Tech and M.Tech from the institute can choose this subject as a quantum elective. The course has been developed by both IIT Roorkee and Microsoft and will provide access to Q# Programming Language practical examples, Microsoft Quantum Development Kit and Microsoft Quantum Faculty.
Experts from the tech giant will teach the students about real-world experiments in quantum computing and will provide access to the tools of the emerging technology. The course will run for a full semester.

With Microsoft’s experience in the field of quantum computing, we aim to make the technology more accessible and enhance the learning journey of engineering students.
