Cast and Plot
The mini-series stars Sonoya Mizuno (Maniac), Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation), and Jin Ha (Hamilton). The upcoming sci-fi limited series has eight episodes in total. Devs is the story of a Silicon Valley company dealing with quantum computing. She investigates the secretive development division of her employer, a cutting-edge tech company based in San Francisco, which she believes is behind the disappearance of her boyfriend.
After Lily’s boyfriend’s apparent suicide, she suspects that something’s not right and begins to investigate. Soon she realizes that all roads lead to Forest (Nick Offerman), Amaya’s enigmatic CEO, and Devs, the company’s secret development division. In Lily’s journey to discover the truth, she uncovers a technology-based conspiracy that could change the world.
Release date and trailers
Fans got our first look at the series during a special presentation at New York Comic-Con, where they were treated to an extended teaser and select clips shown exclusively at the con. The limited series will be premiering in March 2020 only on Hulu following a partnership deal between the service and FX, now that both Hulu and FX fall under Disney’s ever-widening entertainment umbrella.
Even though we don’t have a trailer yet, we have a teaser to make us crave for more.
Devs will be joined by shows like Mrs. America, A Teacher, and The Old Man as the first tier of streaming exclusives while FX favorites like Sons Of Anarchy, American Horror Story, Archer, and Atlanta will all find their way to Hulu in March.
