The Dutch government said it will provide EUR 23.5 million over the next five years to support the development of quantum technology in the country. This is the initial funding for the National Agenda Quantum Technology announced in September 2019.
The funding will include support for test and demo installations and establishing the National House of Quantum, where researchers, businesses and students can work together on promising applications of the encryption technology and quantum computing.
