Faultline readers may remember our unconventional coverage of an April Fools blog post that turned out to be the tip of a very large quantum computing iceberg – one that lured numerous people into a negative latency pipedream. That story has since taken another turn, as we learned about a growing interest among media and entertainment firms exploring quantum key distribution (QKD) to protect data assets.
