Nine years ago there was announced by the British Science Association ‘a new chip which enables mass manufacture of quantum technology’ .
The chip had been produced by ‘an intemational research collaboration led by entists from the University of Bristol, UK which has developed a new approach to quantum computing that could lead to the mass-manufacture of new quantum technologies,’ said the BSA.
Quantum computing was the brainchild of Nobel Prize-winner and serial prankster Richard Feynman in 1982.
Governments around the world have for many years invested in research to make quantum computing a reality but the goose is putting up a formidable performance in eluding it’s pursuers.
